Rosemarie A. Doumitt
Rosemarie Adele Doumitt has a B.A. in Photography from Southern Illinois University and a Masters in Fine Arts specializing in Photography from the University of New Orleans. For the past 15 years, Rose has worked as a professional photographer specializing in wedding and pregnancy imagery through her business, Seamama Photography. She taught fine art photography and photojournalism for 13 years at Isidore Newman School. She also taught fine art photography and photojournalism courses at Loyola University and Delgado Community College in New Orleans. For part of her career, she worked as a photojournalist for the “The Times Picayune” Newspaper in New Orleans. “Seamama Photography” specializes in Pregnancy and Wedding imagery. Rosemarie’s aesthetic techniques bring to light a storybook style of creating imagery where the natural, intimate moments of our lives are captured in fine art documentary brilliance. In her Pregnancy imagery, she works with clients to create intimate, environmental portraits capturing their unique experiences of body and spirit during pregnancy. In her Wedding imagery, she captures the intimate, candid moments, which tell the unique story of each bride’s day. “Seamama Photography” is dedicated to capturing and recording the most intimate milestones and memories of our lives for today and for many generations to come.
